THE summer program 2024 of SWISS from Zurich will include two new long-haul routes –Washington DC and Toronto– and two intra-European –Košice and Cluj-Napoca.
From March 28, 2024, SWISS will offer a regular daily connection all year round between Zurich and Washington DC by Airbus A330. The outbound flight will depart from Zurich at 1:00 p.m. and land in Washington DC at 4:20 p.m. (local time). The return flight is scheduled for 8:45 p.m. from Washington DC, arriving in Zurich the next day at 10:50 a.m.
From May 10, 2024, the Swiss airline will also serve the city of Toronto in Canada. Only planned in the 2024 summer season program for the moment, this connection will be operated every day except Monday and Wednesday, also by Airbus A330. The flight to Toronto will depart Zurich at 9:55 a.m. and arrive at 1:00 p.m. (local time). Their return flight is scheduled for 4:35 p.m. for arrival in Zurich at 6:30 a.m. the next day.
SWISS expands its European network
SWISS is also expanding its European network and will offer direct flights from Zurich to Košice, Slovakia’s second city, three times a week by Airbus A220. In addition, it will serve Cluj-Napoca, Romania’s second city, with three weekly flights by Airbus A220.
The SWISS summer program from March 31 to October 26, 2024 from Zurich or Geneva will include a total of 113 destinations. From Zurich, passengers will have the choice between 67 European destinations and 24 intercontinental destinations; from Geneva, travelers will be able to go to 43 short-haul destinations in addition to the long-haul destination to New York.
