Qatar Tourism has launched a new interactive online training course, the Qatar Specialist Program, designed to enhance the knowledge of tourism professionals on the diversity of Qatar’s tourism offer and provide them with a recognized qualification.

The program, which uses the latest digital learning technologies, reinforces Qatar’s mission to become a leader in service excellence. Available in 11 languages, the Qatar Specialist Program enables tourism professionals to acquire knowledge and appropriate tools to promote and sell Qatar more effectively.

The main program includes 7 modules and 1 final assessment, for a total duration of 3h30. Each module focuses on an aspect of Qatar’s tourism offer, which allows participants to be able to carry out this training program with certain flexibility, at their own pace, thanks to an intuitive and ergonomic teaching tool available on all devices. It includes interactive maps and knowledge quizzes.

Qatar Tourism’s Vice President of International Markets, Philip Dickinson, said: “The Qatar Specialist Program marks a new milestone for Qatar Tourism and its development on the international tourism scene. We aim to increase the number of international traveler arrivals and welcome six million visitors by 2030.”

The Qatar Specialist Program focuses on the various aspects of Qatar’s tourism offer, through its history, its heritage, as well as the attractions and experiences that can be experienced and discovered. Participants who validate the entire course will benefit from exclusive advantages and will receive all the news of the destination, hotel offers, activities, exhibitions, etc.

Finally, all participants who have obtained the final certification will be drawn and will have the opportunity to win prizes of 2 places for a PSG match as well as PSG jerseys. The first draw will take place on March 31.
