VV23 prepares for takeoff

The next Vega mission will take off on October 5 from Kourou, carrying the THEOS-2 satellite for Earth observation and FORMOSAT-7R/TRITON for the study of marine winds.

The next Vega mission is scheduled for the night of Tuesday October 4 to Wednesday October 5 at 10:36 p.m. (Kourou), 3:26 a.m. (Paris) and 1:36 a.m. (UTC). It will take off from Europe’s spaceport in Kourou. This port will be the staging point for the progress of this new launch campaign. The mission aims to continue the development of space and improve our knowledge of the globe.
