The airline company low cost Volotea will launch a new seasonal service in the fall between Strasbourg And Londonits 22nd route in the Alsatian airport and its UK premiere.
From November 9, 2023, the Spanish specialist in low-cost flights will offer two flights per week between its base in Strasbourg-Entzheim and the airport of London-Gatwick, operated in Airbus single-aisle aircraft. Departures are scheduled for Thursday and Sunday, with Volotea having no competition between the two cities.

Volotea now offers 22 destinations from Strasbourg Airport, where it “retains its position as the leading airline in terms of destinations and seats”. This new line is also the company’s first regular service to the United Kingdom.
This year, the low cost offers Strasbourg nearly 760,000 seats to 11 French cities (Ajaccio, Bastia, Biarritz, Bordeaux, Figari, Lourdes-Tarbes, Montpellier, Marseille, Nantes, Nice, Toulouse) but also six European countries and from North Africa: Spain, Italy, Greece, Morocco, Portugal and the United Kingdom.
