The national airline of Vietnam is delighted to announce the increase of its frequencies between Paris and Ho Chi Minh City, thus strengthening its presence in Europe and meeting the growing demand of French travelers.
From October 31, 2023, Vietnam Airlines will add weekly rotation
between Tân Sơn Nhất International Airport in Ho Chi Minh City and Charles de Gaulle International Airport in Paris thus increasing the number of flights to 5 per week. This initiative is part of the company’s continuous development strategy aimed at offering travelers greater flexibility and better access to popular destinations in Europe and Asia.
Using the A350
An Airbus A350, a latest generation aircraft that can accommodate up to 305 passengers on board divided into three travel classes, will also make this additional flight scheduled on Mondays from Vietnam and Tuesdays from France.
On the outward journey, the flight will leave Paris-CDG at 1:35 p.m. (local time) to reach Ho-Chi-Minh-City at 6:55 a.m. (local time) the following day. On the way back, the plane will leave Tân Sơn Nhất International Airport in Ho Chi Minh City at 11:10 p.m. (local time) to land at 7:40 a.m. in Paris-CDG (local time) the following day.

Vietnam Airlines currently offers a daily flight to Hanoi and up to 4 weekly flights to Ho Chi Minh City with connections to Vietnam, Cambodia, Laos and many other countries in Asia. The company also serves 22 domestic destinations thus connecting the main Vietnamese cities to Europe.
As a reminder, since August 15, 2023, the period during which tourist visitors can stay in Vietnam without the need for a visa has been increased from 15 to 45 days.. The Vietnamese government has thus decided to increase the duration of temporary visa-free stays for citizens of 13 countries, including France. A boon for travelers to Vietnam, who now have more time to discover the country.
