Vietnamese Airlines will strengthen its frequencies between Paris and Ho Chi Minh City to meet the growing demand of French travellers.

From October 31, 2023, Vietnam’s national airline will add a weekly rotation between Tân Sơn Nhất International Airport in Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon) and Paris-Charles de Gaulle International Airport, bringing the number of 5 flights per week.

This additional rotation, provided by Airbus A350 with 305 seats, is scheduled on Mondays on departure from Vietnam and on Tuesdays on departure from France. On the outward journey, the flight will leave Ho Chi Minh City at 11:10 p.m. (local time) to land at 7:40 a.m. at Paris-CDG (local time) the following day. On the return, the flight will leave Paris-CDG at 1:35 p.m. (local time) to reach Ho Chi Minh City at 6:55 a.m. (local time) the following day.

Vietnam Airlines currently offers a daily flight Hanoi-Paris and up to 4 flights per week Ho Chi Minh City-Paris. Via Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City, it offers connections to Cambodia, Laos and many other countries in Asia. It also serves 22 domestic destinations.

As a reminder, the Vietnamese government has decided to increase the duration of temporary visa-free stays for citizens of 13 countries, including France. Also, since August 15, 2023, French travelers can stay in Vietnam without the need for a visa up to 45 dayscompared to 15 previously.
