After celebrating 90 years of elegance in the heart of Paris, its first destination, Air France continues to celebrate this exceptional event throughout the world with its customers, partners and employees.
Thanks to this anniversary, Air France is highlighting 90 years of technology, innovation and comfort in the sky on its stops. 90 years of travel, gastronomy, design, haute couture, art and architecture. Exhibition of its heritage in iconic places, parades of uniforms from yesterday to today, Air France reveals itself from Rome to Delhi, from Accra to Washington or even from Shanghai to Buenos Aires… The celebrations continue throughout throughout the year and until 2024, including Madrid, Montreal, Abidjan and Tokyo.
Spotlight on the Air France parade at Corcovado
In Rio de Janeiro, Air France organized and filmed a uniform parade unique in the world at the top of the famous Corcovado, lit up for the occasion in the company’s colors. Among the uniforms selected are the very first steward uniform from 1933 as well as those signed by Dior in 1962, Cristóbal Balenciaga in 1969, Jean Patou in 1976 and the current uniform made by Christian Lacroix in 2005.
