At the 2023 Paris Air Show, the French company Skydrone Robotics presented its Versatyl modular drone, a modular and multi-mission drone adapted to the requirements of the very open market for carrying “free” payloads.

During the 2023 edition of the Paris Air Show, in hall number 4, there was a stand “flown over” by a motionless drone, carrying with it a backpack in a net. At this location was Skydrone Robotics, a company specializing in the design and manufacture of drones and command and communications (C2) stations. Established in 2018 in Charente Maritime, it now brings together around fifteen engineers, researchers, drone pilots, technicians and developers in order to offer a product designed and manufactured by it from software to hardware, including electronics.
During an interview with Damien Chatard, head of business development at Skydrone Robotics, and Antoine Vidaling, CEO of the company, Airlines and Destinations was given the opportunity to learn more about its flagship product, the Versatyl modular drone.
