The passage of the Olive storm in the North and the Midwest of the United States forces several airlines to revise their flight plans at the airports of Minneapolis/St Paul, Denver, Detroit and Chicago.

According to the American authorities, the weather conditions could make it impossible to travel in the country until the end of the week.

Today alone, 5,277 flights to or from the United States were delayed and another 1,600 were cancelled. The hardest hit airline is Skywest, followed by Delta and Southwest.
