The U.S. Army has awarded Airbus a $27.8 million contract to upgrade mission equipment for the National Guard Security and Support Battalion. These enhancements are intended to increase the capabilities of the UH-72A Lakota to perform day and night operations, with a new advanced moving map display, improved digital interfaces, new monitors and other system enhancements.
