THE american airlines will propose more flights to ChinaAfter that the United States and China last week approved an agreement to double the number of passenger flights currently allowed between the two countries.

From October 29, Delta Airlines will operate daily flights from Seattle to Shanghai-Pudong International Airport, as well as three flights a week from Detroit. And next March, it will resume a connection between Los Angeles to Shanghai-Pudong, with four flights per week. This is a line it had not operated since February 2020, suspended due to the Covid pandemic. Customers flying with Delta Air Lines will be able to connect to other cities in China through its partnership with China Eastern Airlines.

As demand continues to increase and the peak season for travel to the Asia-Pacific region begins, the Delta team is ready to welcome even more travelers to this region this winter, providing our award-winning customer service on every trip.“said Jeff Moomaw, vice president of Delta Asia Pacific.

For its part, American Airlines will offer daily service between Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport and Shanghai-Pudong International Airport starting in January, up from the current four weekly flights. Also, United Airlines said it intended to increase flights to China, but not open new routes.
