The airport of Toulouse-Blagnac announces that traffic for the third quarter of 2023 stands at 85.2% of traffic in 2019 (reference year), confirming the gradual recovery recorded for several months.
A recovery can be observed with dynamic very different between national traffic and international traffic. Over this last quarter, traffic international represents almost two thirds of traffic with a market share of 65.7%. In the 3rd quarter, travel in France represented 34.3% of commercial exchanges on the platform (-8.6 points vs Q3 2019). In this third quarter, the destination Paris achieved a recovery rate of 65.8% compared to 2019 with 455,560 passengers. Ultimately, national traffic in Toulouse accounts for 728,151 passengers (68.1% of Q3 2019).
International traffic remains much higher with 1,393,078 passengers, almost at the same level as the base year in 2019 (98.0% of Q3 2019). “For traffic outside France we are very close to expecting 2019 levels. This very good recovery is driven by the “international outside Europe” beam which is up sharply on the platform with +61.0% notably thanks to growth in the Maghreb, the arrival of Air Canada in Montreal as well as that of Qatar Airways since July”communicates the Toulouse airport.
