Garuda Indonesia was confirmed at the Singapore Airshow on February 15 as the unidentified customer which ordered six Bombardier CRJ1000 NextGen regional jets and placed 18 options in a deal announced on February 10. Garuda also said it would acquire up to 12 more CRJ1000s from a third party.

The order firms a letter of intent signed by Gazprom at the 2010 Farnborough International Airshow.
