Bombardier CSeries Flies for the First Time

At 9:53 a.m. on September 16, after a short take-off run, Bombardier CS100 C-FBCS ‒ named Flight Test Vehicle 1 by Bombardier Aerospace ‒ took off into a clear blue sky from Mirabel Airport some 30 miles north of Montreal.
Read morePorter Airlines has signed a conditional purchase agreement for 12 Bombardier CS100 airliners, with options for an additional 18 CS100s. The agreement also includes purchase rights on six Bombardier Q400 NextGen aircraft. The CS100s would be Porter’s first jet aircraft.
