Hawaiian Airlines and the Virgin Australia group of airlines have launched a new agreement that allows V Australia to codeshare on Hawaiian Airlines’ flights between Sydney and Honolulu, and on Hawaiian’s connecting inter-island flights to Kahului, Lihue, Hilo and Kona.

Hawaiian to Add Three More Boeing 717s to Its Inter-Island Fleet

The leased jets will increase Hawaiian Airlines’ fleet of Boeing 717s to 18 aircraft. With the three additional Boeing 717s, Hawaiian says it will be able to expand its inter-island service between Honolulu and Kahului, Lihue, Hilo, and Kona during peak travel periods.

Delta to Codeshare on Hawaiian’s Inter-Island Flights

From September 15, customers can connect on a single ticket between their Delta Air Lines flights and 70 daily inter-island flights operated by Hawaiian Airlines. Hawaiian flights will connect Delta customers between Honolulu and Kahului, Lihue, Kona and Hilo, as well as between Kona and Kahului.
