TripAdvisor recently published the ranking of the 25 most voted beaches in the Traveller’s Choice Awards 2023.
What are the podium ranges?
First, we find Brazil, with Baia do Sancho to Fernando de Noronha. This secluded beach on the volcanic island is only accessible by a steep ladder between the rocks and wins gold.

Afterwards, the Caribbean with Eagle Beach Palm in Aruba, which wins the silver medal, with its white sand and sea turtle nests. Third place on the podium goes to Cable Beach in Broome, Australia, whose name derives from the telegraph cable laid between Broome and Java in 1889.

A very varied top 10
Leaving the summit, we also abandon the tropical latitudes, because a decidedly different beach enters the classification: it is about Reynisfjara in Vik, in cold Iceland, a place that does not go unnoticed in the contrast between the black sand and the green and blue of the hills and the sea.

Let’s return to much softer shores with the fifth position, occupied by the Caribbean archipelago of the Turks and Caicos Islands and Grace Bay Beach in Providenciales, with palm trees, white sand and the postcard sea that you imagine in places like this. Just as one imagines the harsher landscapes overlooking the ocean of Praia da Falesia in Olhos de Agua, a destination in Portugal which wins sixth place with its red cliffs.

In seventh position we find Asia, with Radhanagar Beach on Havelock Island, an uncontaminated landscape in the Andamans, Thailand. There is also a piece of Italy represented by the Spiaggia dei Conigli in Lampedusa, Sicily, in eighth place. Varadero in Cuba and the beach Ka’anapali in Hawaii complete the top 10 most voted beaches by Tripadvisor users.

Once is not custom where the Madagascar destination is not mentioned!
In the South West, more than 150km of lagoon, exceptional beaches as far as the eye can see and all this with very beautiful lodges on a human scale, far, very far from mass tourism.
And what about the Radama archipelago located in the North West of Madagascar where the impression of being alone at the pond on heavenly beaches bewitches our travelers.
