THE tomorrowland festival will bring the whole world together again tomorrow at Boom, the airline Brussels Airlines having set up 125 special flights for the occasion.

Since July 19, 2023, 125 flights of the Belgian national company from 57 airports different are scheduled to the airport of Brussels-Zaventem, bringing to Boom more than 10,000 festival-goers with a Global Journey package “to the best music festival in the world”. Tomorrowland is in its 17th edition and promises to “seize the hearts of the world again this summer, with top-level DJ sets, magical surprises and fairytale settings”. No less than 400,000 festival-goers from all over the world will be welcomed to the “De Schorre” domain in Boom from Friday.

The first music enthusiasts will meet in Dreamville today, the theme this year being “Adscendo”. “Spread over 16 magnificent stages, more than 750 artists among the world’s best in the field of electronic music will make this edition an unforgettable event”.

Over the past few months, more than 10,570 plane tickets were sold according to Brussels Airlines. On board, the five most common nationalities are Spanish (17.6%), Swiss (7.9%), British (4.3%), American (4%) and Norwegian (3.8%). “Last year, this top 5 was a little different: United States (nearly 12%), Germany (10.5%), Spain (more than 7%), France and United Kingdom (a little more than 6% each)”, underlines in its press release the company of Star Alliance.

Also this year, seven flights will be completely transformed into unique flights #TMLpartyflights. This means that passengers will be able to enjoy their first live DJ set 10 kilometers above the ground. The very first Partyflight was provided by the Belgian DJ Maori yesterday, between Ibiza and Brussels airport. On board were passengers from 11 different countries, including Americans, Australians, Brazilians, Chileans and festival-goers from Thailand and Hong Kong. “To get in the mood, they had already attended the premiere of a total of 11 gate parties in Ibiza.”

The Partyflights will be operated with the Brussels Airlines Airbus A320 Amare dedicated to Tomorrowland. This is already the fifth time that Amare has transported music lovers from all over the world to the festival. Painted with a beautiful eagle on the outside, the plane also brings the Tomorrowland vibe to life on the inside, not least with additional mood lighting. The magic bird will not only be visible in the sky, but also on the ground. Indeed, the eagle is a character from the book “Adscendo” and will also come to life on the main stage of the festival.
