From October 3 to 5, 2023, the National Tourist Office of Montenegro is making its grand return to Paris and will meet you at the IFTM Porte de Versailles – Stand U034. But first, we give you some information about the country.

seaside resorts, discovery stays or even in search of secret corners, Montenegro is made for you. An appointment is therefore made from October 3, to come and discover or rediscover this magnificent country which is making a comeback at the show and on the French market.

What to say about Montenegro and why go there?

1 – A booming destination on the French market

In 2022, a total of 75,861 French tourists visited Montenegro, generating 327,928 overnight stays. Compared to 2021, this represents twice as many tourists according to data from the Statistical Office of Montenegro, Monstat. As for the year 2023, at the end of July 2023, it had already welcomed 51,451 tourists, an increase of 33% compared to 2022 and 15% compared to the record year of 2019.

2 – Ease of access from France

The direct flights between France and Montenegro, lasting only two and a half hours, have helped to generate great interest in Montenegro as a tourist destination, which French tourists visit in large numbers during the summer months. 39;summer, but also during the low season.

3 – Live unique experiences

4 – Discover new developments where luxury blends into a unique setting along the Montenegrin coasts

A popular and popular destination, the major brands in accommodation and leisure have also set up shop in Montenegro. Starting with the very famous Buddha Bar in Porto Montenegro which highlights a new concept of unique art of living and catering within the marina Yacht club. With its beach club atmosphere and five-star culinary services, the Buddha Bar offers panoramic views of the Bay of Kotor, from the swimming pool to the bar and restaurant. Or other luxurious addresses like the Hyatt Regency in Kotor Bay which opened in June 2023 or the Swissôtel Resort Kolasin which will be the first luxury hotel in a Montenegrin ski resort and will welcome its first guests this winter.

5 – A unique playground for sports and nature fans

Hiking, cycling and mountain biking, rafting, climbing, skiing… everything is possible in this country of 14,000 km²! Montenegro means exploring the national parks which cover 8% of the territory with the famous Durmitor Park by hiking or rafting, the site of Lake Skadar and that of Biogradska Gora by bike or even hitting the ski slopes on the area from Kolasin. On the nature side, you can let yourself be lulled by the sound of the sea on the beaches bordering the Adriatic Sea with certain secret coves accessible only by boat, admire sites listed as UNESCO world heritage sites like Kotor.
