The most punctual and worst European airports, according to AirHelp

The passenger help site AirHelp compiled the list of european airports where the flights are the most on time or conversely the most delayed.

For its ranking, AirHelp analyzed the delays of more than 15 minutes and the cancellations in June 2023 in the European airports with 5,000 flights or more that month. The worst airport was London-Gatwick, with 54% of its flights delayed, while Finland’s Helsinki airport was the most punctual, with just 18% of flights disrupted

Paris-Charles de Gaulle ranks fourth among the ten worst European airports, with 50.60% of its flights disrupted in June. Some of Europe’s busiest international hubs are doing better than France’s top airport: Amsterdam-Schiphol with 36% delays and London-Heathrow with 40% off-schedule flights, according to AirHelp data. The agency Bloombergwhich published the ranking, advises Americans traveling to Europe to transit through Helsinki, Düsseldorf, Oslo, Warsaw or Vienna, the most reliable airports on the Old Continent.
