Hard Rock Hotel Ibiza: 19 Fridays of an authentic 80s show at Playa d’en Bossa
From May 26 to September 29, guests will enjoy, every Friday, the spectacular outdoor stage located next to the Hard Rock Hotel Ibiza swimming pool, where some of the most prominent artists of the Spanish national scene will perform and international music of the 80s and 90s, making the public vibrate to the rhythm of the legendary hits of that era. The poster includes such mythical and well-known names as Sabrina, Marta Sánchez, JUST KOOL from KOOL & THE GANG, Seguridad Social, Alexia, Vangaboys, Inner Circle or Jenny Bergen from Ace of Base, as well as other artists who do not have not yet been announced.
The opening show on Friday, May 26 will be provided by the iconic Sabrina. This Italian artist, symbol of an era, will make her audience sing on her greatest success.
In addition to the performances of the artists already mentioned, other appearances will attract fans of the 80s, those of Dream Team Reload, La Movida Ibiza, the saxophonist Lugotti, José Asunción on the violin, or even M3.
Hard Rock Hotel Tenerife: 4 unmissable events in pure Canarian retro style
On the shores of the spectacular Costa Adeje, the Hard Rock Hotel Tenerife will also celebrate its journey through time, allowing participants to relive the authentic atmosphere of the 80s for a few hours, thanks to a colorful visual spectacle and a setting neat scene.
The kickoff will be given by pop diva Marta Sánchez on April 15, performing the most famous songs of her career. Local artists will also have their place with the July 8 performance of Soul Sanet, the group from Tenerife that revolutionized the R&B scene in the Canary Islands in the 90s and reformed recently. The next appointment will be with Corona on September 16, making the public dance to the rhythm of Eurodance with, among others, his internationally known hit “Rhythm of the Night”. The closing night of December 2 will offer a long-awaited last performance with Just Kool, from Kool & The Gang, the “smaller version” of the famous American group.
‘Children of the 80’s’, launched at the Hard Rock Hotel Ibiza in 2015 by The Night League, quickly established itself as one of the major summer events on the island of Pitiusa, especially among fans of 80s music. .
