Next summer, the Portuguese company will offer a total of 91 weekly flights to Brazil from Lisbon, i.e. eleven additional frequencies compared to the 2023 summer season.
The Portuguese company TAP Portugal has already announced the main new features of its summer 2024 program, which will mainly be marked by a significant strengthening of connections to Brazil from Lisbon.
Rio and Recife at the forefront
In total, the program of connections to Brazil will gain eleven weekly frequencies to reach a total of 91 frequencies per week over the summer period. Recife thus gains three weekly frequencies (10 instead of 7) and Rio will go from 10 to 12 weekly rotations. São Paulo, Belem, Brasilia, Natal, Maceio, Porto Alegre and Salvador de Bahia will also benefit from additional frequency to and from Portugal.
The Portuguese airline will also increase its program to Maputo (Mozambique), with 4 weekly flights instead of 3 currently. In North America, Toronto will increase to 13 weekly flights and San Francisco to 6 weekly flights at the height of summer. In Europe, Rome will benefit from a fifth daily flight. Florence will increase from 8 to 10 weekly frequencies.
Air shuttle between Paris and Lisbon
Finally, note that TAP Portugal has set up an air shuttle service (“Ponte Aerea” in Portuguese) between Paris and Lisbon, including check-in up to 45 minutes before flight departure and the “fast track” (boarding fast) in Paris and Lisbon (excluding promotional rates, connecting passengers and group reservations), as well as the possibility of changing tickets free of charge on the same day on a previous flight.
