TAP: conflicts with unions, recruitment difficulties and too low wages

The Portuguese airline TAP must review the operational plan for next summer, due to the difficulties experienced in recruiting new employees, essential to support the increase in supply.

The alert was given by the Portuguese trade unions in the sector, which explained in a press release that the company is struggling to hire, especially experienced crews.

At the origin of the difficulties, there would therefore be the low levels of wages of the company, a problem which had led the unions themselves to call a strike at the end of January, a strike which was then revoked following the reopening. negotiations with the company.
