TAP Air Portugal: increase in frequencies to Brazil in 2024

TAP Air Portugal unveiled its new flight program for summer 2024, including 11 additional services per week to Braziloperating a total of 91 weekly flights between its bases Lisbon and Porto to 11 Brazilian metropolises.

Recife gains three additional weekly services from Lisbon (10 flights instead of 7) and Rio goes from 10 to 12 weekly services. São Paulo, Belém, Brasilia, Natal, Maceio, Porto Alegre and Salvador will also benefit from an additional weekly flight to and from Portugal.

Furthermore, in Africa, the Portuguese airline will also increase its operation to Maputo (Mozambique) with now 4 weekly flights, instead of 3 currently. In North America, Toronto (Canada) will increase to 13 weekly flights and San Francisco (United States) to 6 weekly flights at the height of summer. In Europe, Rome benefits from a new daily flight, i.e. 5 daily flights to and from the Italian capital, for a total of 35 weekly services. Florence, the Renaissance capital, will also increase from 8 to 10 weekly services.

With the increase in its rotations, TAP Air Portugal continues its path towards a sustainable long-term recovery, focusing on the development of its main routes“, explained the Portuguese airline when announcing its 2024 summer program. For the current summer season, it offers more than 1,250 flights per week, to all destinations in its network, which includes 7 airports at Portugal, 9 in North America, 13 in Central and South America, 14 in Africa and the Middle East and 43 in and 43 in Europe (excluding Portugal).
