SWISS will connect for the first time Zurich and the Dutch port city Rotterdam by one direct connection launched next January.
The new connection will be operated with six flights per week from January 22, 2024. By adding Rotterdam to its destinations, SWISS is expanding its service to the Randstad, a Dutch region bringing together the cities of Amsterdam, Rotterdam, The Hague and Utrecht, in the west of the country. In addition to its flights to Amsterdam, it offers travelers an attractive new opportunity to travel to the economic and cultural center of the country.
Flight time from Zurich to Rotterdam is 1 hour 30 minutes. Rotterdam Airport, rather small, is simple and journeys for passengers are short. The city center can be reached in around ten minutes by car (depending on traffic) and in around twenty minutes by public transport. The port city Rotterdam is located about an hour’s drive from the capital Amsterdam and half an hour from The Hague, to which it is also very well connected by public transport.
