SWISS defined the new cabin interior of his future long-haul Airbus A350-900thus taking an important step towards its commissioning announced for 2025.

The layout of the different areas, including the seating arrangements and the layout of corridors, toilets and kitchens have now been determined. The number of seats per travel class is also decided. The new aircraft equipped with the cabin concept “ SWISS Senses » will offer their passengers a completely new, more personal travel experience.

The new Airbus A350-900 will count 242 places distributed as follows: 3 in First Class, 45 in Business Class, 38 in Premium Economy Class and 156 in Economy Class. With 38 seats, the Premium Economy Class will be significantly larger than that of current SWISS aircraft. Switzerland’s largest airline thus meets the growing demand from the premium segment, particularly leisure travel.

From 2025, our passengers will enjoy a completely new experience in all classes of travel thanks to a redesigned space layout. We remain the only major airline to offer first class on all of its long-haul aircraft. We are also expanding our Premium Economy Class which is enjoying great success. SWISS thus clearly positions itself as Leading Premium Airline in Europe », says Tamur Goudarzi Pour, CCO of SWISS.
