Last Saturday, a spectacular rescue exercise was carried out at Cologne/Bonn airport in Germany. This intervention simulated a collision between two planes. As part of this exercise, emergency services took the passengers into the open air and provided them with treatment. To add reality to the situation, an expert set off a huge fireball to simulate an explosion. According to an airport representative, everything went as planned.
