Satair and Transavia Airlines have signed an agreement for Satair’s Integrated Material Services (IMS) solution, which will facilitate the introduction of the A321neo into the airline’s fleet later this year.

Satair’s IMS solution will support Transavia’s consumable needs for line and base maintenance operations, helping Transavia ensure seamless entry into service and efficient operation of its new fleet. “This strategic collaboration marks an exciting milestone for Satair and Transavia and we look forward to providing a tailor-made solution that will ensure high material availability and streamline operations for the entry into service of Transavia’s A321neo,” said Paul Lochab, commercial director of Satair.

Using Satair IMS will enable Transavia to increase spare parts availability while streamlining supply chain costs. As its fleet grows, Transavia will evolve the IMS as its maintenance needs evolve, with Satair overseeing the entire supply chain, from forecasting and planning to purchasing and delivery.

“We are pleased to partner with Satair, trusting in their expertise to ensure smooth operations and a reliable supply chain, paving the way for successful integration of the new A321neo into our fleet,” added Robert -Jan Korenromp, head of fleet and technical services at Transavia.
