The first new joint route of Delta And LATAM in the Brazilian market landed in early August in Los Angeles (LAX).
The aircraft, a Boeing 777 took off from São Paulo (GRU) on Tuesday August 1 and transformed the largest city in California in LATAM’s 22nd international destination from Brazil. It is also the fifth destination of Brazil in the United States after Miami (MIA), Orlando (MCO), New York (JFK) and Boston (BOS), in addition to Delta’s daily flights from São Paulo to Atlanta and New York and, from December, from Rio de Janeiro in Atlanta and New York (seasonal connection). Currently, LATAM is the main Brazilian airline connecting Brazil to the world, representing the highest number of passengers flying with Brazilian airlines to or from the country, according to the National Civil Aviation Agency of Brazil.
