The low cost Ryanair and the student network Erasmus (ESN) have extended their partnership for the seventh consecutive year, to allow European students to travel to lowest rates during their educational exchanges.
Thanks to this partnership, Erasmus students have a dedicated booking platform on the Ryanair website, where they can benefit from a 10% discount on four one-way flights (or two return trips) and free checked baggage of 20 kg for each flight booked.
Since 2017, ESN students have benefited from this exclusive partnership which has, to date, resulted in more than 700,000 reservations. Europe’s leading airline in terms of passenger numbers, Ryanair has a leading network of more than 230 destinations.
“ The continued partnership between Ryanair and ESN is an important step in ESN’s commitment to making mobility more inclusive and affordable for students across Europe. Lack of financial means and uncertainty about additional costs have been reported as one of the main barriers to participating in learning mobility, often impacting the overall quality of the experience students», recalled the president of ESN, Rita Dias.
