The airline Ryanair low cost and its subsidiaries welcomed 17.4 million passengers last month, traffic in 9% increase compared to June 2022.
The Boeing 737-800 and 737-8200 of the Irish budget flight specialist and its subsidiaries Ryanair UK, Malta Air, Buzz and Lauda (the latter in Airbus A320) saw the number of their passengers increase in June 2023 by 9 % compared to the same month last year.
The group operated more than 96,250 flights in June, despite the cancellation of more than 900 flights (“about 160,000 passengers”) due “mainly” to strikes by French air traffic control. The average load factor reached 95%stable compared to June 2022.
Over the last twelve months in rolling traffic, Ryanair has welcomed 173.4 million customers, a total up 29% compared to the previous period (134.5 million). The load factor of the group’s aircraft reached an average of 94% (+8 ppp).
