Royal Air Maroc: 10,000 additional seats for the IMF and World Bank annual meetings in Marrakech

Royal Air Morocco propose to une offers 10,000 additional seats at the 2023 Annual Meetings of the World Bank and the International Monetary Fund (IMF) which will take place from October 9 to 15, 2023 at Marrakech.

Royal Air Maroc announces to set up “an exceptional system to support the organization of its Annual Meetings” who will mobilize “significant human and material resources”. It mainly includes a large mobilization of the operational teams of Royal Air Maroc at the airports of Marrakech and of Casablanca and major international transit hubs, as well as a promotional price offer for the benefit of participants.

In terms of offer and capacity, Royal Air Maroc offers 18,000 seats from the countries participating in this major event, including 10,000 additional seats. Thus, some 5,268 seats will be made available to the American market. In addition, three direct flights will be, for the first time, operated by Royal Air Maroc from Washington to Marrakech on October 4, 6 and 8, 2023.

This exceptional flight program also includes an increase in frequencies on the routes Paris-Marrakech (3 flights per day), Marrakech-Marseille (3 flights per week), Marrakech-Brussels (2 flights per week) in addition to other flights via Casablanca which cover issuing countries in Europe, North America, Africa and the Middle East.

A promotional pricing special is also offered to participants in the 2023 Annual Meetings of the World Bank and the IMF, in class economic Or business. Plane tickets are available from Royal Air Maroc agencies, for travel dates between September 25 and October 30, 2023. To benefit from this offer, participants must go to a Royal Air Maroc agency with proof of their registration for the event.

Royal Air Maroc’s unique system also includes a strengthening of ground operations thanks to the mobilization of the Company’s operational teams, in Morocco and abroad. A special customer journey will thus be set up at the departure and arrival stopovers at New York, Washington, Paris (airports from Orly And Charles of Gaul), Casablanca And Marrakech. Dedicated checking counters are provided with a display on the screens, in addition to specific signage in the counters.

To simplify travel for participants at the 2023 Annual Meetings, baggage tags personalized have been designed, in addition to stickers to stick on the Boarding passes. Royal Air Maroc is also strengthening its material and human resources at Marrakech international airport and at the level of Washington, New York, Paris, Brussels And Doha, which represent the main transit hubs for participants in this event. The objective is to provide effective support for participants throughout their journey, from registration to arrival.
