Rolls-Royce announces that it has concluded a contract with the Directorate General of Armaments (DGA) for the maintenance of the Trent 700 engines equipping the Airbus A330 Multi Role Tanker Transport (MRTT). These aircraft are currently in service with the Air and Space Force (AAE) and maintained by the Aeronautical Maintenance Directorate (DMAé).

Rolls-Royce has concluded a contract with the Directorate General of Armaments (DGA) for the support of the Trent 700 engines equipping the Airbus A330 Multi Role Tanker Transport (MRTT) in service with the Air Force and the French. Space (AAE) and maintained by the Aeronautical Maintenance Department (DMAé). The MissionCare agreement, for a maximum duration of 20 years, provides support based on the availability of TRENT 700 engines to meet the needs of strategic air forces.

France selected the Trent 700 to equip its MRTT fleet in June 2016. The first aircraft entered service in October 2018. The Trent 700 proved to be the engine of choice for the A330 MRTT, also equipping fleets United Kingdom, United Arab Emirates, Republic of Singapore, Republic of Korea, Qatar and NATO MSF. The Trent 700 is perfectly suited to military operations. The A330 MRTT Phoenix fleet is deployed by the Strategic Air Forces within the 31st Air Refueling and Transport Wing based at Air Base 125 in Istres and will ultimately include 15 aircraft.
