After the first month of operation of the Iberian Renfe TGV between France and Spain (since July 13 on the Barcelona-Lyon link and July 28 between Madrid and Marseille), the rail operator confirms that the rate average occupancy currently exceeds 80%.

Following these good results, Renfe plans to put into service daily trains on the Lyon line from September 1 and on the Marseille line from October 1.

The AVE service (the Spanish TGV) between Barcelona and Lyon serves the stations of Barcelona Sants, Girona, Figueres Vilafant, Perpignan, Narbonne, Béziers, Montpellier-St-Roch, Nîmes, Valence TGV and Lyon Part Dieu.

On the other hand, the Madrid-Marseille axis connects the intermediate stations of Guadalajara Yebes, Zaragoza Delicias, Camp de Tarragona, Barcelona Sants, Girona, Figueres Vilafant, Perpignan, Narbonne, Béziers, Montpellier-St-Roch, Nîmes, Avignon- TGV, Aix-en-Provence TGV and Marseille-St Charles.
