Raytheon has been awarded a contract by the US Army to develop its “Advanced Distributed Radar” (ADR) concept for Low Altitude Air and Missile Defense (LTAMDS).

Raytheon/RTX has been awarded a contract by the US Army to develop the concept of its “Advanced Distributed Radar” (ADR) to include the Low Altitude Aerospace and Missile Defense Sensor (LTAMDS). Under the contract, Raytheon will develop the software to connect multiple 360-degree LTAMDS radars. Raytheon initially developed ADR to improve the U.S. Navy’s AN/SPY-6(V) family of radars.
