Qatar Airways, Emirates, CFC, Fram…all looking for live customers!

Many airlines, cruise companies, tour operators are present on social networks in order to attract customers directly. Does the EDV no longer have the possibility of defending travel agencies?

Essential social media?

Social media platforms are an excellent springboard for advertising campaigns due to their wide reach and ability to personalize. Some tourism players are investing on Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Youtube and X Twitter. When you click on the offers, the consumers find themselves directly with the service providers. The mention “booking via travel agencies” has completely disappeared.

A substantial budget on these social networks

Airlines are very present. Marketing budgets must be much larger than before. Cruise lines are not hiding. You have to fill the huge liners of MSC or Costa Cruises. A little surprised to discover CFC (French cruise company), but first they have to make their brand known. A few years ago, there was talk of a 30% share of direct sales from MSC or Costa. According to our information, this rate of direct sales has progressed well.

Fram is also present on Youtube (in particular)

Professional media forgotten?

It must be recognized that we publish regularly on all tourism service providers. However, Airlines and Destinations like others are forgotten in the marketing budgets of major players. We do not despair!
