After almost twenty years of absence, the Australian airline Qantas will once again operate regular flights to Paris, with a new non-stop service which will connect it to Perth, in Western Australia, and which follows the success experienced by Qantas on other long-haul flights to London and Rome.

The inaugural flight is scheduled for July 12, 2024 and the Australian airline will initially operate four frequencies per week during the European summer peak season, then increase to three frequencies per week from mid-August. They will be carried out on Boeing 787-9s with a capacity of 42 passengers in Business, 28 in Premium Economy and 166 in Economy.

Some of the first passengers will be Australian athletes traveling to the Paris 2024 Olympic Games.
