The Australian airline announced on Wednesday an order for four Boeing 787-9s and eight 787-10s. This massive investment, part of a process of modernizing the wide-body fleet, shows the Australian flag carrier’s commitment to achieving its sustainable development objectives. In fact, this should reduce fuel consumption and emissions by up to 25%.
