Passengers about to take off Tenerife in destination to London this weekend did not appreciate the joke… their flight having been canceled due to human droppings found on the ground toilets.
Outraged passengers left stranded in Tenerife after easyJet canceled delayed flight to London Gatwick because a customer “had defecated on the toilet floor”. Footage shared online and on MailOnline showed pieces of toilet paper littering the plane’s path, while another video showed the pilot explaining the flight had been cancelled. “…kind of fun defecating in the front toilet, so we’re spending the night here now.” We will now get everyone down and organize hotels. Then we will take the plane tomorrow morning”, a flight attendant said to a crowd of passengers.
Flight EZY8054, which was due to take off on Sunday at 8:05 p.m. and arrive in the British capital at 12:20 a.m., had already been delayed for several hours before finally being canceled. Passengers left at 3pm the next day – after easyJet admitted it was “unable to find hotel rooms in the area”forcing guests to pay for their own last-minute accommodation for the night.
