Peru unveils its tourist and gastronomic treasures in the large stand B056 of the IFTM

Peru is preparing to showcase its tourist attractions during the 44th edition of the IFTM Top Résa trade show, an unmissable event that brings together more than 30,000 professionals from all over the world. Fifteen partners representing the Peruvian industry will be present on stand B056 to highlight the richness of the tourist offer.

The main objective of this edition will be to restore consumer confidence and strengthen Peru’s position in the French market. The cultural aspect will also be in the spotlight, with performances of traditional dances from various regions of the coast, the Andes and the Amazon as well as a fascinating demonstration of the ancestral technique of

A beautiful stand on which to taste the delights of excellent gastronomy

Peru will welcome visitors to a majestic 120 square meter stand that will highlight the entire diverse palette of tourism experiences. The partner companies present will be made up of receptionists, hotels and a railway company, from renowned destinations such as Lima, Cusco and Puno.

Visitors will have the opportunity to taste delicacies such as chocolate, pisco, coffee and snacks made from superfoods and national ingredients. These tastings will highlight Peruvian cuisine. A master craftsman, specially from Peru, will share his unique know-how with visitors.

Tourism from France

French tourists show a marked preference for cultural tourism, urban discoveries, as well as visits to archaeological sites, monuments and museums. Additionally, they are particularly interested in community-based tourism in Peru, seeking authentic experiences where they can share activities with local communities. During the first eight months of this year, no less than 1,564,957 tourists set foot on Peruvian soil, including 32,934 French travelers. These figures demonstrate Peru’s growing appeal as a destination of choice for French travelers, reinforcing our commitment to providing unforgettable and authentic experiences of the country.
