Tony Estanguet, President of the Paris 2024 Games Committee, announced yesterday, Tuesday August 29, that half of the 2.8 million tickets for the Paralympic Games which begin in a year will be on sale from October 9 at the maximum price of 25 euros.
For comparison, for the Olympic Games which take place from July 26 to August 11 before the Paralympic Games (August 28 to September 8), the prices of the 10 million tickets vary from 24 to 950 euros, excluding the ceremonies opening and closing.
If the 2.8 million tickets announced by Estanguet are sold, Paris would exceed the Paralympic record set by London in 2012, with 2.7 million tickets.
