On April 1, designer Christian Louboutin opened his first hotel, the Vermelho (red, in Portuguese) in the village of Melides, in the Alentejo region, in Portugal, having as its leitmotif the color scarlet, a nod to the famous red sole of his shoes. The structure has 13 rooms and, for the construction, particular attention has been paid to integration with the surrounding environment.
The character-defining elements include a plunge pool built inside the garden. Additionally, almost all rooms have outdoor space for sunbathing, and ground-floor suites also have direct pool access.
Beautiful place a little lost in the heart of the village but rising value of this destination in the coming years south of Comporta
