Norwegian innovates with a Lyon-Oslo

Building on the success of the line on Stockholm open in winter, mainly to allow Swedish tourists to reach the ski resorts of the French Alps, the company Norwegian perpetuates its presence in Lyon Saint-Exupéry Airport next summer with a new line to Oslothe capital of Norway.

After announcing a Toulouse-Copenhagen and one Montpellier-Oslo For next summer, Norwegian continues to be committed to France with a new connection between Oslo and Lyon from June 2, twice a week.

In total, 40 new routes were added to the route program, including nine new routes from Norway, 17 new routes from Denmark, nine from Sweden and two new routes from Finland. New point-to-point connections between Malaga-Munich, Alicante-Munich, Riga-Corfu and Riga-Tivat are also part of next year’s programme. The summer program will include 332 routes to 123 destinations with a fleet of approximately 90 aircraft Boeing (737-800 and MAX 8).

“The launch of these new routes expands our network and offers more choice to our customers. From our bases in Europe, we are also launching new point-to-point routes. We look forward to a busy summer season and welcoming our customers on board”, commented Magnus Thome Maursund, Norwegian Chief Commercial Officer. Norwegian is therefore adding Basel, Lyon, Montpellier, Pristina, Zadar and Bari, among other destinations this summer. A new connection between London Gatwick And Gothenburg will be operated with four weekly flights from May 2. The new connections Munich-Malaga and Munich-Alicante will operate throughout the summer season, as will the Riga-Corfu and Riga-Tivat connections.
