Northrop Grumman wins contract from Korea for ALMDS project.
Northrop Grumman Corporation was awarded a contract by Korea Aerospace Industries, Ltd. (KAI) to provide Airborne Laser Mine Detection System (ALMDS) solutions for the Republic of Korea’s Korean Mine Countermeasures Helicopter (KMCH) program. The ALMDS is capable of day or night operations, allowing precise geolocation of detected mines to support their neutralization.
