New York OT changes name and introduces new brand identity

It was during the annual AGM which took place on Tuesday March 28th that CEO Fred Dixon unveiled the new name and new identity of the official organization of marketing, tourism and conventions for the five boroughs of New York City: New York City Tourism + Conventions. The new brand is deployed through a strategy integrating a complete visual identity including a new logo, a renewed graphic charter and artistic direction.

About New York City Tourism + Conventions

New York City Tourism + Conventions is now the name of the official marketing, tourism and convention organization of the City of New York City, dedicated to the optimization and promotion of tourism in the five boroughs, and to the development of economic prosperity and spreading the positive image of New York City around the world.

The launch of this new name and identity is accompanied by a social media campaign #WHATSGOODNYC, and it will offer ideas and advice as well as recommendations for activities and excursions through various channels in order to to inspire visitors and locals to explore all that New York City has to offer.

What changes and what remains

The structure, mission and global network of New York City Tourism + Conventions remains the same as the former NYC & Company.

The new accounts @nyctourism And @nyctourismnews will launch on Twitter, Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn, encouraging New Yorkers and travelers to engage and share their experiences using the #WhatsGoodNYC hashtag.
