While the summer holidays are fast approaching, the teams of theNantes-Atlantique airportmanaged by the operator VINCI Airports, are in the starting blocks to welcome the many passengers expected.
With 91 destinations proposed this summer, Nantes-Atlantique is the 1st stage of the holidays for many inhabitants of the Great West wishing to go to one of the 25 countries connected by direct flight to Nantes. A wide range of destinations in Europe and beyond is offered, with 16 new arrivals, and flagship destinations in Africa (14 destinations), Italy (12 destinations), Spain (13 destinations), Greece (8 destinations), in Martinique and Canada.
Among the new features that reinforce the influence and attractiveness of Nantes and its region, we can note among others:
• Copenhagen in Denmark and Stuttgart in Germany with Volotea,
• Constantine in Algeria with Transavia,
• Charleroi-Brussels in Belgium with Ryanair.
In order to guarantee a high quality of service to all passengers this summer, the VINCI teams
Airports have deployed multiple actions. Thanks to the opening of a baggage control room
additional for the summer season, specific for families, the passage to controls is
streamlined and limited waiting time, for all passengers, with or without children. Nantes Atlantic
also pays particular attention to passengers with disabilities, who are taken into
supported by staff trained in visible and invisible disabilities.
In terms of shops and restaurants, the offer has been expanded with 12 establishments available to
passengers. Among the novelties, we note the opening of a beer bar near the halls
boarding since June and the presence of a food truck every Thursday on the esplanade offering
local burgers and desserts, served continuously from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Duty Free now offers
the sale of certain products derived from Les Machines de l’île. This is the company’s first partnership
Nantes outside their own sales circuit, allowing passengers to leave with a
very local memory.
Finally, for the youngest, entertainment is scheduled every Friday, Saturday and Sunday from
July and August, with, among other things, games and photo activities.
