Prepare your meetings at the IFTM-Top Résa show with the Guyana Tourism Committee and its partners. It’s confirmed, Destination Guyana returns to meet you at the Porte de Versailles exhibition center, pavilion 1 stand B036, from October 3 to 5, 2023. Placed under the sign of elegance, Indira Ampiot, Miss Guadeloupe 2022 and Miss France 2023 will honor us with her presence at the show on the Guyana stand, for a signing session with Audrey Ho-Wen-Tsai, the current Miss Guyana, at her side.
For this new edition, the Tourism Committee will welcome you on a 91 m2 stand well placed in the main aisle, in the presence of the Guyane Évasion receptionist and hoteliers: the Mercure Cayenne Royal Amazonia****, the Grand Hôtel Montabo, the Hôtel des Roches**** as well as the Auberge des îles du Salut.
The main emphasis will be placed on supporting and implementing future programs in Guyana, while respecting the territory, inhabitants and biodiversity.
To start this journey with us from Paris and immerse yourself in a French Amazonian atmosphere, the immersive animation in a sensory bubble will be repeated to awaken the 5 senses. In addition, for taste discoveries, typical Creole breakfasts will be served to you on the stand; a mixologist, member of Toques françaises, will take on the challenge of creating 2 cocktails based on our local products; a nod to the Guyanese carnival will be made by the presence of 2 emblematic characters who will stroll through the aisles: Touloulou and Tololo.
Guyana is gradually positioning itself to become a destination of choice for sustainable tourism. Although the structure is still in its infancy, in the current version of its tourist offer and since its emergence in the competitive Tourism sector, it offers authentic and unique travel experiences on the sidelines of this trend.
The Tourism Committee continues to implement initiatives aimed at strengthening the structuring of the tourism sector and supporting professionals in a co-construction approach.
The strengthening of air exchanges with neighboring countries opens up new perspectives for the destination, thus increasing its attractiveness and contributing to its opening up.

Furthermore, the end of 2023 and 2024 will be marked by a series of large-scale actions, aimed at increasing the visibility of the territory on a national and global scale, thus offering an exceptional showcase with: the reception of 30 candidates for the title of Miss France 2024 (from 11/19 to 29/2023), the planned launch of the first flight of the Ariane 6 rocket in 2024 or even the passage of the Olympic flame locally (scheduled for 06/09/2024) .
