The Space Development Agency (SDA) has awarded Lockheed Martin a deal worth approximately $816 million to build 36 Tranche 2 T2TL Beta satellites. T2TL is part of an overall plan to enhance deterrence with more resilient space-based architectures for advanced targeting, data transport, and beyond-visual-range missile detection and tracking.
