On September 11, 2023, Littleton, Colo., Lockheed Martin (NYSE: LMT) announced the opening of its Future Operations Center, a technology showcase demonstrating how tomorrow’s satellite operators will be able to simultaneously manage multiple space missions via one secure web-based cloud infrastructure. This futuristic Lockheed Martin self-funded center, located on the company’s campus near Denver, Colorado, uses its proven Compass™ and Horizon™ mission planning and command and control (C2) software.
