Lockheed Martin, the government of Romania and the Netherlands have announced their intention to establish a European training center for F-16s in Romania. The center aims to improve the efficiency and safety of Romanian pilots operating F-16s.
Lockheed Martin plans to create an F-16 training center in Europe.
On August 31, 2023 in Fort Worth, Lockheed Martin (NYSE: LMT) and the governments of Romania and the Netherlands announced a letter of intent to establish the European F-16 Training Center in Romania. “The F-16 continues to play a critical role in 21st century security missions for the United States, Europe, NATO and allies around the world,” said OJ Sanchez, vice president and director General, Integrated Fighter Group.
