Latecoere partners with Boom Supersonic to revolutionize sustainable supersonic air transport

Boom Supersonic selected Latecoere to develop the electrical interconnection system for its commercial supersonic aircraft, Overture, and its Symphony engine, contributing to the realization of sustainable supersonic air transport.

Boom Supersonique chooses Latecoere as strategic supplier.

Boom Supersonique, the company building the world’s fastest airliner, announced that it has chosen tier one aerospace leader, Latecoere, to join its growing network of global suppliers. Under the agreement, Latecoere’s engineering team in Toulouse, France, will work with Boom engineers to define the complete architecture of the Electrical Wiring Interconnect System (EWIS), a key system for Overture and Symphony . The EWIS will include more than 103 kilometers of cabling, requiring more than 45,000 electrical connections, ensuring optimal system security and reliability for Overture and Symphony.
